FREE COMIC BOOK DAY Southern California Comics

Working on layouts on the next few pages of Black Falcon & Sidekick ISSUE 03.

WHO WANTS A FREE COMIC?

We do! But it ain't going to be one of ours...

For our second public appearance, we attended the Free Comic Book Day event hosted by the cool people at Southern California Comics in...Southern California. In attendance, outside the store, were toy and collectible sellers, local artists and more importantly independent creators. Hence the reason we were in attendance.

It's always great to talk to randos about the comic and the characters. The best part of the show was talking to children that were way too young to read/appreciate the books. Got to talk to Max about what it takes to make his own comic. Now we are just waiting on him to send us his fanart to include it in the next issue of Black Falcon & Sidekick. His and whoever else sends us their artwork!

I had no idea that there were categories, but here we are.

Always cool to see us as a "Featured Guest" anywhere.

WHAT IS FREE COMIC BOOK DAY?

Free Comic Book Day is primarily an event to showcase and promote local comic book shops.

The first Free Comic Book Day event was held in 2002. Over the years, thousands of shops around the world have given away millions of free comic books to interested readers. We're proud of the continuing success of FCBD and look forward to growing the event each year!
